Toying with the concept of “animated architecture” and continuing our love of color overlay. We created this image as an experiment into transforming CMYK BenDay Dots into an architectural feature. In this detail, transparent window stickers (C,M,Y, & K Dots) would be used, similarly to old comic books, to create an image on a sliding glass wall between two rooms. When the doors are open they are shown individually, giving the space an fun pop-art vibe. When they slide closed, they overlay to create a full color image.
